Phranakorn Nornlen Hotel Bangkok Thailand Traveler Reviews
May 25th, 2009 admin
To keep it short, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed. Every detail exudes charm-old decor, creative breakfasts, the colors, the walls by hand. I feel at home here.
We are really excited about the no smoking policy, and the fact that there are no televisions in the rooms. Adds to the atmosphere of sweet simplicity and power of the place. The staff is super accessible and useful, either to ask for directions or Bangkok information or whatever. There is even a small gift shop filled with handmade delights, and an organic rooftop garden.
You’ll have to ask not to have bedding and towels changed regularly, in the interest of saving water, but there are many so-called “green” policies being carried out here, among which is the [magic] homemade soap, which has a smell of earth, and leave you renewed, but unfortunately that is not [yet] for sale in the store.
Breakfast is included in the price and a discount is available through online registration for returning visitors. I highly recommend this place, so much care and attention has been paid to the development and nurturing of this cozy place is a perfect reminder of the simpler things, and their presence in Bangkok, has helped give me a new perspective the city. Simply beautiful.
Probably not good for visitors who want to smoke in the place or need a television program. The only drawback that I can think is that they do not have a broader menu (coffee, juices, teas and snacks are available for a small cost at the cafe on the site).
Not too far from Tham Na Hometaurant, which has a large vegetarian menu to complement the lunch / dinner.
