Ratchadapisek Road 16 | Asoke Skytrain & Sukhumvit Subway Station, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
I stayed at Park Plaza for a night with my sister after three weeks traveling around SE Asia. We find the elegant and luxurious hotel, and were impressed with our room, the cheapest available. The beds were the comfiest that had stayed throughout the party and the room was nice and big with a large rain shower in the bathroom. The service was excellent and the restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we did most of the 70 baht cocktails during happy hour (5-8) and half the price of food each meal. The food was delicious and served very quickly, v rare SE Asia! The icing on the cake was the rooftop pool where we spent a lazy afternoon after checking in before our flight home. It also has two computers for free Internet access is v hand. Def will visit again.

40 / 5 Surawong Road | Bangrak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand
I stayed for 3 nights at Le Meridien Bangkok exloring for my short time in Bangkok and the hotel is fantastic. The lobby of the hotel may seem a little snob, that is most amazing chill-out, but once Vista in. I reserved a room, which is the fourth lowest they have, but its decor and furnitusre is very sophisticated and quite rationally placed in a spacious room.
The location is good, safe and very quiet, even through the hotel is next to the street Patphong, one of the most famous red light discrict. You can find the station BTS (Sara Daeng) in 7.8 minutes’ walk from the hotel. But you may have to take into account more minutes if you try to access late at night ~ time because there are many tourists who enjoy the night market and go-go bars around it.
The staff are generally very friendly and helpful! If you have any problems on your journey to help as much as they can. I am sure you will not feel uncomfortable with them.
P.S. The room has audio and vidio plug-ins, so you can put your iPod directly into the I / O, but you must bring a vidio and audio cable for it!
