Last summer we stayed at the Peninsula and is truly wonderful. The service was exemplary, the lobby was beautiful and the rooms overlooking the river were well equipped and very comfortable.
The location is excellent because it is far from Noisey center of Bangkok and it was nice to be in the river, especially since the peninsula has its own boat to take him across the river where you can take the train from the sky. Never waited more than 5 minutes for a boat. You can also take the route of the canal from the hotel or just across the river on boats to the Grand Palace.
Breakfast buffet included in our rate and it was huge, and a great way to start the day as you can dine outside on the terrace beside the river and enjoy the breakfast which was plentiful and delicious with a wide variety of choices ..
The spa is truly beautiful and is a very relaxing experience, and although it is much more expensive than other spas in Thailand was really worth two hours of massage with dinner was the same price I paid in New York for an hour massage without the incredible surroundings.
The Peninsula is not only a great hotel, but had a reasonable price for a 5 star hotel and certainly stay at the Peninsula on my next visit and recommend to friends who want a beautiful and comfortable hotel in Bangkok.

250 Sukhumvit Rd, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
I stayed at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit twice already, both on business trips. And both times, the experience has been excellent. The staff is friendly and everyone speaks English fluently. They are quick to check in You can ask any question to the concierge and have a ready answer. The breakfast buffet is lavish and it is not difficult to find a table, even during peak hours. Personally, what I really like about this hotel is near the MTR. There is an elevated walkway connecting the hotel to Sukhumvit station and you can go to all major shopping locations in the hotel. Moreover, the rates are not so expensive compared with other 5 star hotels in the city.

Ratchadapisek Road 16 | Asoke Skytrain & Sukhumvit Subway Station, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
I stayed at Park Plaza for a night with my sister after three weeks traveling around SE Asia. We find the elegant and luxurious hotel, and were impressed with our room, the cheapest available. The beds were the comfiest that had stayed throughout the party and the room was nice and big with a large rain shower in the bathroom. The service was excellent and the restaurant staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we did most of the 70 baht cocktails during happy hour (5-8) and half the price of food each meal. The food was delicious and served very quickly, v rare SE Asia! The icing on the cake was the rooftop pool where we spent a lazy afternoon after checking in before our flight home. It also has two computers for free Internet access is v hand. Def will visit again.
