Location: Southeast of Koh chang, about 19 km from Dan Kao Pier.
How to get there: From Dan Kao Pier, turn left along the asphalt road to Ban Salakkok Crossroad (19 km). Turn left to Salakkok Temple and turn left at the next crossroad for one km to Ban Salakkok at the estuary. Ban Salakkok is nowadays, the quiet village with interesting historical places: Watchakhama Cotchathawip Temple or Salakkok Temple, the temple visited by King Rama V. He was asked to place his feet on the location which later was the construction site of Salakkok Temple.

Villagers still lead their local lifestyle as fishermen, growing Para rubber, coconut trees, selling food and appliances. There are also a school and pier where you will find fresh seafood. The area is also very fertile with mangrove forest that is very interesting to visit.

One day tour is suitable since the village has only one resort and no homestay house at the present time. It is better to stay at Salakphet or Jek Bae Village nearby. The boat tour to the mangrove forests is arranged at the cost of 300 baht (chartered boat). You can contact the villagers at Salakkok Bay.
